Wrecksite.uk is an independent project and there is always more to discover. Shipwreck records can be incomplete, locations can be uncertain, and new surveys sometimes reveal details that were not previously known.

If you have information that could improve the site, I'd be very pleased to hear from you.

wreck information and corrections

If you spot an error in a wreck record, know the identity of an unidentified wreck, or have information that adds to what is already shown on the map, please get in touch.

Where possible, include the name of the wreck or a link to its location on the map, together with the source of the information.

photographs and historical material

Historical photographs, documents, contemporary accounts and other material relating to wrecks featured on Wrecksite.uk can be particularly useful for the Spotted articles.

Please include whatever you know about the origin, date and copyright of material you send. Nothing will be published without appropriate permission or attribution.

survey and bathymetric data

If you know of publicly available bathymetric surveys, wreck datasets or other marine data that could improve the maps, suggestions are welcome. Information about the datasets already used by Wrecksite.uk can be found on the sources page.
